Results are for practice and fun

The spacebar counter, CPS test and double click test measure how many inputs your browser receives in a set time. Your results depend on your keyboard or mouse, your device, your browser and how busy your computer is. We try to measure fairly, as explained in is a spacebar counter accurate?, but we do not guarantee any result and our tools are not certified measuring instruments.

Score targets are informal

Numbers such as “a good score is about 6 presses per second” are practice reference points, not statistics measured from our visitors, and not official grades. Records you may read about on other sites are usually self-reported and cannot be verified. The same is true of our Top 500 leaderboard: it is a community ranking, not an officially verified world record.

Health

Fast, repeated pressing or clicking can tire or strain your hands, wrists and fingers. Warm up, take breaks, keep your wrist relaxed and stop if you feel pain, numbness or tingling. Nothing on this site is medical advice. If discomfort continues, speak to a qualified health professional.

Gaming and competitions

Some games, servers and competitions have their own rules about click speed or click techniques. A good score here does not mean a technique is allowed there. Check the rules of the game or event you play.
